Comments from satisfied customers:
I was the principal actress in the production. Unfortunately, I had lost all of
my video copies of the film, and was stuck since it was out of print
for a long time. Thank you so much for my copy, and for taking the time
and effort in keeping my film alive!
Best Regards,
Doryan Dean - The Treasure Girl
As administrator of this forum, a former hunter and still a fan of the hunt,
I recently obtained a DVD from NJComputerGuys and LOVE IT!
It's easy to use and the quality is outstanding. In fact in the early chapter
where the golden horse is being forged, I always thought there
was a Raggedy Ann doll in the background. Never knew why. But, the video being
much sharper and clearer ... I discovered it was not a doll after all.
Thanks !!

UPDATES
06-01-09 I actually made contact with Doryan Dean! The
actress from the film emailed me one day asking for a copy.. she is living in
California and is releasing a series of family-oriented educational books and
products. It was amazing to be able to talk to her and hear her
voice, after guessing what she sounded like for twenty years. She also has
a series of instructional yoga CDs as well.
I urge you to have a look for yourself...
12-31-09 I recently obtained a VHS copy of the puzzle,
and noticed that some of the film footage was edited out from
the laserdisc
version (probably due to the running-time constraints for laserdisc). I
edited the excised footage differences
between the two versions and have made it available
here... just click on the picture linking to the mp4 file.
The ending credits
have some commentary by myself, if
you have the urge to listen.
Note that this file is from a VHS transfer and is heavily
compressed at lower resolution...
it is NOT indicative of the quality of the DVD that I offer.
01-01-10 Happy New Decade! I finished scanning in
some articles (from the now-defunct Treasure Magazine) that dealt with the
puzzle. Some of it is kind of insightful, most of it is just fluff, one
article (the pig article) is totally unsubstantiated. But, I leave them
for you to look at, have fun. If anyone has any articles not shown here,
please consider sending them my way...
